The ancient art of traditional Hand-Drawn Hmong Batik is in danger of being lost forever. At this time, very few Hmong Batik Artists remain who can draw in the ancient traditional way by hand. We at Moon Love Batik are dedicated to the mission to preserve this art for the future!

The Apprentice Program:

The founder of Moon Love Batik, Tsimmuaj Adam Xyooj, created the apprentice program in an effort to preserve the future of Hmong Traditional Hand-Drawn Batik Art. In order to transfer the knowledge to new young artists, Tsimmuaj used his own savings to fund the training of Batik Artists with Master Batik Artist, Zu Xiong which spanned several months.
